As a businesswoman who was raised in South Los Angeles, I've been waiting for a politician who shares the values of our community. After speaking with many community members including business-owners, parents, teachers, health care providers and blue-collar workers, I was asked to run for Congress to bring our values to Washington.
Our nation's economy cannot survive without a moral compass and investing in our greatest resource, our youth. I will fight for our working and middle class, for lower taxes, to protect parental rights, end homelessness and to strengthen our education system so the next generation can thrive in today's global economy.
I believe in liberty and justice for all, unbought and unbossed the special interest groups that currently control Washington and our great state.
I promise to represent every member of our great community as our next Congresswoman.
